Venues are not construed anymore as places for events to take place in but as a simple interpretation and adaptation of existing places in city centers and outskirts for hosting those events.
Why can this take place? Events are naturally constrained by the need of their users to move, park, walk, sit, watch, leave, search, queue, etc. Mobility devices will change, ownership will be replaced by service subscription, road infrastructure will be freed, our love relationship with cars will wither (at least becomes more moderate!), our time will become more valuable and we will simply notice that we have lost roughly 10% of our life behind a steering wheel.
If all this happens, technology permitting, the number of moving vehicles will reduce significantly and the roads we built are not necessary anymore and eventually we will have ample space for other usages.
